|A line of low absorption laser lenses for high power CO2 lasers that absorb less laser energy than standard A/R coated lenses and run cooler have been introduced by Laser Research Optics of Providence, Rhode Island.
Laser Research Cool-Cut™ CO2 Laser Lenses are direct replacements for most standard OEM laser lenses and feature a proprietary coating which absorbs <0.15% of laser energy and protects against thermal damage. Designed to run cooler and outlast standard A/R coated lenses, these low absorption lenses provide focal length stability to assure consistent cut quality.
Available in 1.5” and 2.0” dia. sizes from 0.236” to 0.380” thick with focal lengths from 1” to 25” in 0.5” increments, the surface quality of Laser Research Cool-Cut™ CO2 Laser Lenses is 40-20 scratch-dig and transmission is >99% at 10.6 µm. A mounting service is offered.
